Character is not only moral, it is also mental. Heroism exists not only on the battlefield or in public but also inside the head, in the ability to face unpleasant thoughts. You are definitely courageous, we are behind you and will always think about you Srilu. The loss is irreparable or irreplaceable, but you can definitely mend your life. All your joys will return once the kids start growing up and grow up to be responsible and wonderful human beings. Be brave and keep doing your duty.

Toys r us

Cajole, pamper, bribe or shower your love - whatever you call, giving is a primal instinct. With so many choices around and it was very hard to find gifts partly because as an adult we see no value in toys, but for kids they mean a lot, though a new toy can keep them interested for a short amount of time. Happy Birthday dear Vamsi, I miss your b'day again!!!!

Carbon Debit

Decided to finally start contributing Carbon Debits, increase global warming, take away the resources from next generation - i.e., took the plunge and bought our first car which contributes 180 grams of CO2 per Km. It is a black Chevrolet Cruze 1.6, looking good for a first time car buyer though pickup is slightly on the lower side and fuel consumption appear to be bad from reviews.

Vamsi Tabla kutcheri

Vamsi recently gave a short 2 minute Kutcheri at his arts school (SIFAS) along with his classmates. The video quality is pretty bad, apologies for that. Vamsi though was very shy initially in the first few seconds, but came out of his shell to present the beats to the tune of his master with rhythmic movement of his head.

After a long hiatus got a chance to stroll around Pasir Ris Park on bicycles, which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. Also on the blogging front need to get my act right and start submitting on a more regular basis, don't know how the entire time is getting wasted on unproductive and lazy matters. Pratyusha is a big girl now, entered her 12th year yesterday and Mom and Dad completed 42 years together today. Also learnt the great Telugu contemporary poet Sri Sri's 100th b'day yesterday, Pratyusha is fortunate to share the same birthday with Maha Kavi, don't even know whether they will be able to appreciate Telugu in the same manner as we.
